ScreenCamera Help
Configuration Dialog

You can access the 'Configuration Dialog' through the 'Toolbar', or through the 'Menu'.

The first tab is the 'Screen Tab'. Here you set the frames per second you want ScreenCamera to output your desktop screen to video, and whether or not you want the mouse pointer shown. IMPORTANT: High FPS values increase significantly the usage of CPU cycles, so it is recommended to use a low FPS value unless you are trying to share video from your desktop.

The second tab is the 'Webcam Tab'. Here you select the webcam device you want to use and click Connect. You can also set the frames per second you want ScreenCamera to output your webcam to video which by default is 15 FPS, and you can change the settings of your webcam device.

The third tab is the 'Snapshot Tab' in which you define whether you would like to have captured snapshots as BMP files or compressed JPG files. And you will also set where on your hard drive snapshots should be stored.

After you connect the webcam device and change settings to your taste, you can then click OK and use the Toolbar 'Preview Button' to position and size the mixed video output of screen plus webcam. Learn more about resizing and positioning the two video sources in real-time.

It is as simple as that!
