If you can't select an audio format for the codec MPEG Layer-3 because there are none listed then you have an audio driver incompatibility.

We found this incompatibility when running 1AVCenter under Windows Vista with a third party audio driver for Creative Sound Blaster Live!

Creative Labs did not release and will not release Windows Vista compatible audio drivers for Sound Blaster and the driver we have installed presented incompatibility with this one particular codec.

To correct this problem you may want to contact Creative Labs at http://www.creativelabs.com, and request them to provide you with a Windows Vista compatible audio driver for your board, I don't think they will, but maybe after many users do, they might. The other thing you can do is search the web for third party Windows Vista compatible audio drivers for Sound Blaster.
