Surveillance Monitor

First you need to have a capture profile selected and active. Learn about 'Capture Profiles'.

Anything that can be in a capture profile can be monitored but the Surveillance Monitor is best suited for the web cam, the screen or the microphone.

You can do remote surveillance from anywhere in the world if you have a public IP address. To do remote surveillance you must run the web server while monitoring to enable you to review all detected activity and live feed remotely. Learn more about running the web server.

After you have selected a capture profile to monitor then you can tune detection levels, select the tasks to be executed when activity is detected, schedule when to monitor, and change other settings opening the 'Surveillance Monitor Settings' dialog.

To modify settings of the device you're monitoring open the 'Profile Settings' dialog. For example: to change web cam settings such as video format, color, brightness, frame-rate, contrast, hue, etc, open the 'Profile Settings' dialog, and click on the 'Video available settings' button.

Learn how to do surveillance monitoring on the web cam.

Learn how to do surveillance monitoring on the desktop screen.

To start monitoring click on the start button on the 'Surveillance Monitor Action Toolbar' or on the same option on the 'Surveillance Monitor Action Menu'.

To stop monitoring click on the stop button on the 'Surveillance Monitor Action Toolbar' or on the same option on the 'Surveillance Monitor Action Menu'.

You can also schedule when to start monitoring. To set a schedule use the scheduler at the 'Surveillance Monitor Settings' dialog.

About monitoring the screen: When you select a capture profile to monitor the screen you are selecting to do what is called the Desktop Spy because you can at the same time stealth 1AVCenter by using the Hide and Lock feature and then take pictures and record what other people are doing on your computer while you're not using it and without ever being noticed.

Every file that the surveillance monitor generates appears on the 'Surveillance Monitor File List'.

Open the 'File Menu' or right-click on the just generated file to learn what you can do with files inside 1AVCenter.
