Creating videos for presentation purposes

To create presentations you should select the ready-to-use profile named 'Capture and Record Screen+Microphone to Narrate Presentations' on the 'Profile Selector', or clicking directly on the 'Profile Toolbar'. This profile will set you up with a frame-rate of 10 frames per second and the ability to narrate your activities on the screen with the microphone. You can set this frame-rate lower if you want smaller video files.

You can also select the ready-to-use profile 'Capture and Record Screen without Audio' on the 'Profile Selector', or clicking directly on the 'Profile Toolbar'. This profile is mostly indicated for you to record videos using the AVI format that you can then import into more sophisticated presentation tools such as Macromedia RoboDemo for example. This profile will also set you up with a frame-rate of 10 frames per second, but you can set this frame-rate to as low as 2 or even 1 frame per second, and you will still be able to import the recorded AVI file into presentation tools. To change the frame-rate open the 'Window/Region/Frame-Rate' dialog.
