1AVCenter Help
Record audio from external devices: cassette player, LP, mixing table, etc...

1AVCenter allows you capture audio from an external cassette player or any other external audio device that you can plug-in to Line-in.

1AVCenter automatically creates a profile ready-to-use for recording an external audio source 'Record Audio from Line-In'. To select it use the 'Profile Selector' or click the 'Profile Toolbar' on the 'Record Audio from Line-In' profile or select it from the 'Profile Menu' 'Switch To' option.

First learn how to connect external audio devices.

_ The capture window will be showing the contents of the Real-time Frequency Analyzer.

_ Open 'Record Settings' if you intend to change compression or other options.

_ Use the cassette player to start playing a track.

_ Click on 1AVCenter's 'Record Action Toolbar' 'Record' button to start recording.

_ Wait until the cassette player finishes playing a track.

_ Click on 1AVCenter's 'Record Action Toolbar' 'Stop' button to stop recording.

Repeat this process as many times as you want.

The same simple process also applies to any other external audio source.
