1AVCenter will only notify you of activity that really was important. 1AVCenter has the overall level that when correctly tuned will allow you to detect only relevant activity.

If the 'Web Server' is running along with the 'Surveillance Monitor' and you choose to keep recorded copies of detected activity after they happen then the e-mail sent to you will also contain links to recorded activity that you can review from anywhere using only a web browser but for that you will need a public IP address.
