Router/Firewall/Proxy Considerations

1. Open the ‘Global Options’ dialog, and click ‘Test Connectivity’.

2. If your PC connects to the internet through a router/firewall/proxy, then you will need to configure port forwarding on your router. What is port forwarding?

3. Find your router model on this page:

http://portforward.com/routers.htm

4. Click on it, skip the ad, and then click the 'Default Guide' link, and you will see a detailed explanation o how to set IP forwarding on your specific router.
