Well, at least for 1AVCenter you will be able to stick to the re-install part and forget about the re-configure part because if you have a backup file all you have to do is restore it.

To generate a backup file use the 'Tools Menu' Backup option.

A single 'backup file' will be generated for you containing all the software settings. Learn about the backup process.

To restore the backup file use the 'Tools Menu' Restore option or check the 'Restore from file' checkbox on the 'Quick Start Wizard'.

Either way you won't have to re-configure anything.
