| Spy on your desktop completely stealth |
The Desktop Spy works exactly like the web cam monitor except that the capture source is the screen. Algorithms were adapted to monitor the 'Desktop' but that's all transparent to you.
1AVCenter automatically creates a profile ready-to-use for screen surveillance called 'Desktop Spy'. To select it use the 'Profile Selector', or click the 'Profile Toolbar' on the 'Desktop Spy' profile, or select it from the 'Profile Menu' 'Switch To' option.
_ The capture window will be showing the contents of the Desktop.
You have two options: One is to monitor the desktop for activity and the other is simply capture screenshots on regular intervals. If you chose to use the second option learn how to simply capture screenshots on regular intervals.
To monitor your desktop screen using the 'Spy on Desktop (Screen Surveillance)' ready-to-use profile, follow these steps:
_ Select the capture profile named 'Spy on Desktop (Screen Surveillance)'. To do that use the 'Profile Selector', or the 'Profile Toolbar', or the 'Profile Menu'.
_ Open 'Surveillance Monitor Settings' if you intend to change detection level and tasks to execute on activity detection.
_ Click on 'Start monitoring' on the 'Surveillance Monitor Action Toolbar', or on the 'Action Menu'.
1AVCenter will then analyze capture and after analysis it will start monitoring. Note that you can access the surveillance monitor remotely but for that the web server must also be running and you must have a public IP address.
STEALTH 1AVCenter: Here's the twist that makes this type of surveillance possible : Stealth 1AVCenter after you start the Desktop Spy. A spy scheme wouldn't exist if the subject being spied on could actually notice the spy. When you stealth 1AVCenter nobody will ever know they're being spied on.
To stealth 1AVCenter right-click on 1AVCenter systray icon and click on 'Hide and Lock', or use the same option on the 'Tools Menu'. Type and confirm the lock password and click 'OK'. 1AVCenter will then hide and lock remaining stealth until you 'Show' it using the correct password.
