My audio recordings are coming out distorted

If you have a program taking too much of your CPU or you are using a slow computer you might reach the 100% CPU while recording audio directly to WMA files.

In that case the recorded audio may come out distorted.

The same doesn't happen if you're recording directly to WAV format.

The solution is simple. Go to 'Global Options' and uncheck the 'Disable hardware acceleration' checkbox. If that doesn't work then stop the program that is getting all the CPU cycles. The problem won't happen even if you're using a total of 99% of CPU. When it hits the sealing is where the problem appears.
